1.Initial Inspection and Diagnosis
The watchmaker performs a comprehensive check of the watch's function,
appearance, and performance, followed by a diagnosis.
2.Preliminary Repair
The watchmaker opens the case, removes the movement (including the hands and
dial), and checks the performance, accuracy, lubrication, and any malfunctioning components.
3.Full Movement Repair
The movement is fully disassembled. Each part is inspected, replaced if needed,
and cleaned with an ultrasonic bath. The movement is then reassembled, lubricated, and adjusted for
precision according to ZENITH standards.
4.Reassembling the Watch
The watchmaker installs and adjusts the dial and hands, then places the
movement into the case.
5.Testing the Movement’s Functionality
The watchmaker performs checks, including operation in five positions, function
check, automatic operation, and automatic winding.
6.Additional Repairs
Any non-essential or additional repairs, such as replacing buttons, crystals,
etc.
7.Replacing All Gaskets
All gaskets are replaced (including those on the case back, crystal, bezel,
crown tube, crown, buttons, and adjuster).
8.Cleaning the Case and Bracelet
The case and metal bracelet are cleaned using an ultrasonic bath.
9.Final Aesthetic and Functional Inspection
Before returning the watch to the customer, the quality control department
checks the functionality, including automatic winding, rate tests in five positions, power reserve, and
water resistance tests according to the watch’s specifications, followed by a final aesthetic inspection.
