1.Initial Inspection and Diagnosis

The watchmaker performs a comprehensive check of the watch's function, appearance, and performance, followed by a diagnosis.

2.Preliminary Repair

The watchmaker opens the case, removes the movement (including the hands and dial), and checks the performance, accuracy, lubrication, and any malfunctioning components.

3.Full Movement Repair

The movement is fully disassembled. Each part is inspected, replaced if needed, and cleaned with an ultrasonic bath. The movement is then reassembled, lubricated, and adjusted for precision according to ZENITH standards.

4.Reassembling the Watch

The watchmaker installs and adjusts the dial and hands, then places the movement into the case.

5.Testing the Movement’s Functionality

The watchmaker performs checks, including operation in five positions, function check, automatic operation, and automatic winding.

6.Additional Repairs

Any non-essential or additional repairs, such as replacing buttons, crystals, etc.

7.Replacing All Gaskets

All gaskets are replaced (including those on the case back, crystal, bezel, crown tube, crown, buttons, and adjuster).

8.Cleaning the Case and Bracelet

The case and metal bracelet are cleaned using an ultrasonic bath.

9.Final Aesthetic and Functional Inspection

Before returning the watch to the customer, the quality control department checks the functionality, including automatic winding, rate tests in five positions, power reserve, and water resistance tests according to the watch’s specifications, followed by a final aesthetic inspection.
